Buying a car in Rand

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Before you sign

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Bridging the gap

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

Where CarmaCars works

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Rand; we work from Toronto. About 1,914 km in a straight line separate Rand from central Toronto; our delivery stops at about 80 km.

Shopping in Rand? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you are planning in Rand, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Every price here is in Canadian dollars.
