Shopping for a car in Ready

Shopping for a car in Ready? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Drive it like you own it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Before you sign

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.

What we cover

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Ready. We rent from Toronto. At roughly 934 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Ready is outside our delivery area.

For buying in Ready, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Ready if you like. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
