Buying a car in Rimbey

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

What to check before you buy

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

While you shop

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.

Honest about distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Rimbey. With Rimbey about 2,741 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

Shopping in Rimbey? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Tell us what you are planning in Rimbey, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
