Car Financing in Ritchie, IL

Shopping for a car in Ritchie

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Questions to ask

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.

While you shop

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
