Shopping for a car in Riverside

CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area. We are not a dealership, and we do not arrange loans or leases. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class.

Before you sign

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.

The short answer for Riverside

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Riverside. Riverside is about 2,659 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 250 km we deliver to.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Shopping in Riverside? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Still have a question about Riverside? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Rates are shown in Canadian dollars.
