Buying a car in Robles

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

A buyer's checklist

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

While you shop

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Renting from Toronto

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Robles. We deliver within about 80 km of Toronto. Robles, about 3,093 km away, is beyond that.

Shopping in Robles? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Unsure? Send a request about Robles, and we answer plainly. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
