Shopping for a car in Ross

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Drive it like you own it

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

What to check before you buy

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
