Shopping for a car in Ruxton

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush.

Honest about distance

There is no CarmaCars location in Ruxton; everything we do starts in Toronto. About 531 km separate our location in Toronto and Ruxton, far past our 250 km delivery area.

Shopping in Ruxton? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Write to us with the dates and the place, and we will give you a straight answer. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
