Car Financing in Sandel, LA

Buying a car in Sandel

To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Why rent first

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

A buyer's checklist

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

While you shop

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.
