Shopping for a car in Sherando
CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.
Try it for a week first
A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.
Checks worth doing
Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.
Between cars
Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
