Shopping for a car in Sidney
We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.
Drive it like you own it
A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.
What to check before you buy
Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.
While you shop
If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
