Car Financing: what CarmaCars does
CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.
Rent it before you buy it
A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.
Checks worth doing
Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town.
While you shop
Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.
