Car Financing in Smith, OK

Before you buy in Smith

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Smith, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Checks worth doing

Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes.

Before your next car arrives

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
