Car Financing in Smithfield, NS

Before you buy in Smithfield

Shopping for a car in Smithfield? CarmaCars is not a dealer, a lender or a leasing company. We rent cars. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Questions to ask

Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

A car meanwhile

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Toronto based

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Smithfield. Smithfield lies about 1,366 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

For buying in Smithfield, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Smithfield if you like. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
