Buying a car in Spry

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Rent it before you buy it

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign.

What to check before you buy

Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

Before your next car arrives

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.

Our area and Spry
