Car Financing in Startown, NC

Before you buy in Startown

CarmaCars is not where you buy a car, but it can be where you try one first. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Checks worth doing

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Where we work
