Car Financing for Stromness
To be upfront: CarmaCars is a rental company and does not sell cars or arrange loans. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.
A test drive that lasts
If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. You can collect the car from us for free, or have it delivered to Stromness.
What to check before you buy
A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.
Bridging the gap
There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
