Car Financing in Sunset, MD

Buying a car in Sunset

We do not sell or finance cars. We rent them, by the day, the week or the month. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Before you sign

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

While you shop

If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
