Buying a car in Texio

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

A buyer's checklist

Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

A car meanwhile

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned.

The short answer for Texio

Everything CarmaCars does starts from Toronto, and we have no presence in Texio. Texio lies about 3,319 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Texio, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you need in Texio, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
