Car Financing in Tofte, MN

Car Financing for Tofte

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Bridging the gap

Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
