Buying a car in Torbert

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

A test drive that lasts

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is.

Checks worth doing

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

While you shop

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.
