Buying a car in Townsend Fields

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check.

Why rent first

A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Before you sign

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

While you shop

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure.
