Shopping for a car in Troy

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Try it for a week first

If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Buying smart in Ontario

Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Before your next car arrives

Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

About distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Troy. We do not deliver as far as Troy, about 1,355 km from our location in Toronto.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. For buying in Troy, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Tell us what you are planning in Troy, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
