Buying a car in Tunis

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Why rent first

Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it.

Buying smart in Ontario

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Bridging the gap

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

A note on distance

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Tunis. Tunis lies about 2,472 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Send a request about Tunis, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

Ready when you are

Tell us the model and the dates, and we reply with an offer.
