Car Financing in Upper Red Hook, NY

Before you buy in Upper Red Hook

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

Drive it like you own it

A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Questions to ask

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price.

Between cars

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.
