Buying a car in Vidette

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Vidette, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Drive it like you own it

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental lets you judge fuel use for yourself, on your own routes.

What to check before you buy

Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Between cars

A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.

Before you plan around us

CarmaCars has no branch in Vidette. We rent from one location in Toronto. With Vidette about 1,468 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Shopping in Vidette? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. Tell us what you need in Vidette, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
