Buying a car in William

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card.

Rent it before you buy it

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

A car meanwhile

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking.

Renting from Toronto

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in William. We cover about 250 km around Toronto; at about 3,192 km, William is outside that.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Send a request about William, and we reply with a clear yes or no. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.

When you know your dates

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
