Buying a car in Windmill Estates

CarmaCars is a rental company. We do not sell, finance or lease cars, but we can help you try one before you do. We do not check credit for loans or lend money; renting needs a licence, an identity check and a card. We are not a lender and do not arrange loans. A monthly rental can bridge the time while you arrange one with your bank.

A test drive that lasts

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

A buyer's checklist

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose.

Between cars

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal.
