Shopping for a car in Windsor

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. If credit is the obstacle, a monthly rental is one way to have a car while you sort it out; renting is not a loan, so there is no credit check. Banks and credit unions arrange car loans; CarmaCars does not, but we can rent you a car while you sort one out.

Rent it before you buy it

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Checks worth doing

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts.

Between cars

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.

Our area

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Windsor. We rent from Toronto. About 1,209 km from our location in Toronto, Windsor is too far for our delivery area of about 250 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Still have a question about Windsor? Ask in a request, and we answer plainly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
