Car Leasing in Compeer, AB

Shopping for a car in Compeer

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Leasing companies and dealers offer leases; CarmaCars does not, but a monthly rental needs no long commitment. A lease ties you to years of payments; a monthly rental can stop at the end of any booking, with no buyout.

Why rent first

A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired.

While you shop

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. There is no long contract: each booking runs up to 365 days and can be renewed.
