A lease takeover or a new lease takes time to arrange; a monthly rental can cover that time.
Try it for a week first
A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.
A buyer's checklist
Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price.
