Before you buy in Ayers

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it.

Try it for a week first

If we have the model in our fleet, its page shows the rates; if not, a similar car gives you a feel for the class. You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

What to check before you buy

For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up.

A car meanwhile

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars.

Reach and distance

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Ayers. Our deliveries stop at about 250 km from Toronto; Ayers is roughly 1,724 km away.

Shopping in Ayers? A rental from Toronto only makes sense if your trip starts here. For buying in Ayers, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. Send a request with what you need in Ayers, and we reply plainly, even when the answer is no. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
