Buying a car in Bield

If you are looking for a car to buy, the honest answer first: CarmaCars does not offer it, but a rental can help along the way. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Why rent first

Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer.

Checks worth doing

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

While you shop

Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
