Buying a car in Blackpipe

CarmaCars does not sell cars. We rent them, which makes us a good place to try a model before you buy. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car?

Questions to ask

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car.

Between cars

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere.

A note on distance

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Tell us what you need in Blackpipe, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.
