Buying a car in Devoe

CarmaCars does not sell cars or arrange loans; we rent cars, which helps when you are deciding. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it.

Rent it before you buy it

You can rent for a week, or up to 365 days, and nothing is charged until we confirm and you approve. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Rent the model, take it on the roads you know, and decide with confidence.

Before you sign

In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure.

While you shop

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Renting while you shop lets you compare cars without pressure. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one.

Toronto based

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Devoe is outside our area. Devoe is about 1,508 km from central Toronto in a straight line, beyond the 80 km we deliver to.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For anything about Devoe, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

When you know your dates

Rent it for a week, then decide: send a request with your dates.
