Buying a car in Devon

Certified Pre-Owned in Devon: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them, but we can still be useful. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Try the car with the people who will ride in it most.

What to check before you buy

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Between cars

A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Toronto based
