Certified Pre-Owned: what CarmaCars does

Certified Pre-Owned in Echo: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them, but we can still be useful. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car. Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Before you sign

Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask for a test drive on the highway as well as in town. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive.

Between cars

Weekly and monthly rates make a rental a sensible bridge between cars. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it. Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week.
