Certified Pre-Owned: what CarmaCars does

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Rent it before you buy it

Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel.

Checks worth doing

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

While you shop

Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.

CarmaCars and Fairfields

You will not find a CarmaCars location in Fairfields; we work from Toronto. We do not deliver as far as Fairfields, about 529 km from our location in Toronto.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Tell us what you are planning in Fairfields, and we will say what we can and cannot do. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the offer shows the tax.
