Certified Pre-Owned in Five Points

CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell, lend or lease, but renting first is a smart step before buying. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Why rent first

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Between cars

A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. Need a car for a road trip before you buy? Rent one for the trip. A rental can carry you through the paperwork of a private sale.
