Buying a car in Forsyth

Certified Pre-Owned in Forsyth: CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them, but we can still be useful. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

Drive it like you own it

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

What to check before you buy

Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches. Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

Between cars

Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives.
