Shopping for a car in Gray Summit

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

A test drive that lasts

Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting the model you are thinking of buying, for a day or a week, is a real test drive on your own roads.

Checks worth doing

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one.

Where we work

CarmaCars works from one location in Toronto and does not operate in Gray Summit. At roughly 1,129 km from our location in Toronto in a straight line, Gray Summit is outside our delivery area.

If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. Questions about Gray Summit? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
