Shopping for a car in Gresham

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Gresham, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Try it for a week first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. A week of normal life with the car is the best test drive there is. Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide.

Questions to ask

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN.

Before your next car arrives

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. Between selling and buying, a weekly rental keeps the commute normal. Rent the kind of car you plan to buy while you shop for it.
