Shopping for a car in Idington

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it.

Try it for a week first

Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits. Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Checks worth doing

Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Compare the total cost, not only the monthly payment: interest, fees and insurance add up. Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. Ask your insurer for a quote on the exact model before you commit.

Between cars

Waiting for a car on order? A monthly rental covers the wait, up to 365 days a booking. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.

Distance, honestly

Straight answer: there is no CarmaCars location in Idington. We rent from Toronto. From our location in Toronto, Idington is about 1,127 km away in a straight line; we deliver within about 250 km.

Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. For buying in Idington, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you still want to ask about Idington, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
