Buying a car in Lyons

Looking to buy? CarmaCars rents cars instead, which makes a test week easy. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

Drive it like you own it

Try the car with the people who will ride in it most. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Checks worth doing

Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. Ask how many owners the car has had and how it was used.

Bridging the gap

You can switch to a different car at the end of a booking, which helps if you are comparing. Sold your car already? Rent by the week while you shop for the next one. If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives.
