Certified Pre-Owned: what CarmaCars does

If a car to buy is what you need, know first that CarmaCars rents cars and does not sell them; here is what we can do. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Try it for a week first

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. Bring the car seat, the hockey bag or the dog, and see if it all fits.

Buying smart in Ontario

Have a mechanic inspect a used car before you buy it, at a shop you choose. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car. In Ontario, a private seller must give the buyer a Used Vehicle Information Package.

While you shop

Use a rental to try a different kind of car before you commit to one. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Before you plan around us

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Markleton. With Markleton about 433 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. If you still want to ask about Markleton, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Prices on this site are in Canadian dollars.
