Buying a car in Pendleton

CarmaCars is a rental company, so we do not sell cars; renting one first is how we help buyers. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Rent it before you buy it

Try the car on a highway drive, a grocery run and a tight parking spot before you sign. A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Before you sign

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Find out whether the car has open recalls before you agree on a price. Check the date on the tires and the condition of the brakes. Measure your parking spot or garage before you fall for a bigger car.

Bridging the gap

Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

Before you plan

Plainly: we do not have a location in Pendleton. CarmaCars is a Toronto company. Pendleton is about 615 km from our location, and our delivery area is about 80 km.

For buying in Pendleton, local dealers and private sellers are where to look. If you move to the Toronto area, renting the car you want to buy is easy. If you still want to ask about Pendleton, send a request; we would rather say no than overpromise. Rates on this site are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
