Buying a car in Sharp Estates

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Sharp Estates, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first.

A test drive that lasts

Take the car home, load it with your things, park it where you park, and then decide. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other.

Checks worth doing

Confirm the ownership and that no money is still owed on the car. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. For a used car, ask for the vehicle's service records and look up its recall history by the VIN. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy.

Bridging the gap

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
