Shopping for a car in Shingleton

CarmaCars does not sell cars, but before you buy one in Shingleton, a short rental can answer questions a test drive cannot. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

A test drive that lasts

A rental shows you the small things: the seat after an hour, the blind spots, the trunk with your stroller in it. A week of your own driving tells you more than twenty minutes with a salesperson: the commute, the parking, the fuel. Renting first means you buy knowing the car, not guessing.

What to check before you buy

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Look at real fuel use for the model, not only the advertised figure. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN. Read the contract before you sign, and ask about every fee you do not understand.

Before your next car arrives

A monthly rental keeps life moving while your financing is sorted out elsewhere. A rental keeps you driving if your old car sells sooner than planned. If the purchase falls through, you still have a car to drive.

A Toronto company

CarmaCars is based in Toronto and has no location in Shingleton. About 632 km in a straight line separate Shingleton from central Toronto; our delivery stops at about 80 km.

If you are in the Toronto area before you shop, rent the model from us there. Our rentals start and end around Toronto; a test week has to begin there. A request about Shingleton gets an honest answer from a person. Every rate on this site is in Canadian dollars.
