Buying a car in Shulus

There is nothing for sale here as a rule: CarmaCars rents cars. Here is how that helps when you shop. Tell us the car you are looking for and we will help where we can, and you can rent a similar car first. A rental of the same model for a week shows how it fits your commute, your parking and your family.

Drive it like you own it

Testing the car for a week shows how it handles your parking, your passengers and your bags. Rent for a weekend to answer the big question: is this the right car? Renting the model first is a simple way to avoid buying the wrong car.

Before you sign

Make sure every warning light goes out after the car starts. Drive the car on the roads you use every day, at the times you usually drive. A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Look for rust under the doors and around the wheel arches.

Bridging the gap

Need a car while a dealer prepares yours? Rent one by the week. Selling privately can take time; a rental means no rush. There is no long contract, so a rental fits around any purchase date.
