Before you buy in Springbrook

We are a rental company, not a dealer or a lender, and this page explains how renting can help a buyer. Shop for the car anywhere you like, and rent the same model from us first if we have it. We are happy to point you in the right direction, and to rent you a similar car to try.

Why rent first

Many buyers rent the car they are considering for a weekend before they visit a dealer. If you are torn between two models, rent one, then the other. A few days with the car answers whether the seats, the space and the fuel use suit you.

Checks worth doing

A Safety Standards Certificate is needed in Ontario to register a used car you buy. Ask whether the car has been in an accident and how it was repaired. Check the tires and brakes: replacing them adds to the real price. Check open recalls with Transport Canada or the maker, using the VIN.

Between cars

If the car you want is weeks away, rent one month at a time and stop when it arrives. Rent by the week while you compare, and stop the day your next car arrives. A rental means you never have to rush a purchase because you need wheels.
